Château Haut-Lagrange 2016 red
Appellation Pessac-Léognan

Dark colour, intense blackcurrant nose. Dense, tight tannins. Beautiful wine with good potential, exuberant, with very pretty ripe fruit, notes of sweet spices and suave flowers, which are found in a dense, fleshy, harmonious and very fresh mouth.

"Pure and fragrant nose with classic dark Cabernet aromas of cassis, dark berries, tobacco and fine oak. Fresh, medium bodied with pure and dense fruit, nicely layered and balanced with ripe tannin, juicy dark cassis fruit and good length"
Julia Harding

"Intense and sweet-fruited on the nose. Deliciously red-fruited and juicy, supple tannins. Lovely and harmonious"
Antonio Galloni

"The 2017 Haut-Lagrange is super-expressive. Punchy red berry fruit, pomegranate, sweet spices and floral notes add to the wine's racy personality."
